Firefox Mozilla

I upgraded my access to Firefox Mozilla and attached add ons Libx and book burros. Having used book burros previously it now has additional features which are enhanced by having the Libx link. I effectively use book burros when I am obtaining op books for faculty and students to add to our collection. In one search, I can locate availabililty of a title at the least expensive price.
It is like doing one stop shopping and being able to recheck our holdings without going in and out of different sites.

jing

What a great opportunity to capture instuctions, possibly for use in the research guides on our web page. We could also put together a search to access different types of materials as documents, or curriculum materials. For some students visually seeing an example is useful. Using jing, here is a demonstration of pruning roses.

Presidential Library

Clinton Library by Stu Seeger

As a history major, I hope to eventually visit all of the Presidential Libraries. which is also a good excuse to see more States. I have had the opportunity to visit the George W. Bush, Johnson, Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan Libraries but still have several more to visit.

Library usage: Special Collection has many photographs of the early years of the campus which would be valuable and presumably of interest to put up on the Library site such as the elephant races, saiboats in the pond on campus and construction of new buildings. My guess is that from year to year there are popular photos that students repeatedly would like to see and it would be useful to have a place for them.
